Supported Studio Master Classes – from Creation to Presentation
One-day master class for artists, curators and facilitators working with artists in care contexts.
The “Supported Studio Master Classes” focus on different aspects and practices around supported studios. A supported studio is an art studio that provides professional working conditions and artistic guidance to artists who need additional support (for example, due to intellectual, psychological or social vulnerabilities), while recognising them first and foremost as autonomous artists rather than as care recipients.
Internationale conferentie 'Culture & Mental Health'
Museum Dr. Guislain, Iedereen Leest, TOON en 'Ge durft!' (Hogeschool VIVES) slaan de handen in elkaar voor de derde editie van de internationale conferentie 'Culture & Mental Health' op 26 en 27 november 2026 in Gent, bij Museum Dr. Guislain dat in 2026 haar 40ste verjaardag viert. Het conferentiethema is deze keer 'jeugd'. De conferentie zet dus initiatieven centraal die via cultuur (en lezen) het welzijn van jongeren stimuleren.
