Club MiRAnda is the biweekly studio of Lucinda Ra in the Winter Garden of the Dr. Guislain Museum. Every two weeks on friday, we invite anyone from the area who feels like it to come and work in our studio. We don’t give assignments or workshops, but you’re welcome to make use of our company, our coffee, our tables, our chairs, our drawing materials, our paper, our paint, our sewing machine, our opinions, or simply bring your own materials!

The American photographer Roger Ballen is considered one of the most influential art photographers of the 21st century. Over a career spanning more than fifty years, he has developed a completely unique visual language —so distinctive that it has become known as “Ballenesque.” On Saturday, April 4, he will discuss the evolution of his artistic style from the 1960s to today at Museum Dr. Guislain.

The fourth edition of Too Mad to be True will take place on May 14 and 15, 2026, once again in the magnificent Dr. Guislain Museum in Ghent. This year's theme is Madness and its Expressions.

On 26 and 27 November 2026, the third International Conference on Culture & Mental Health will take place in Ghent, with a central focus on youth. The conference explores how culture and art can strengthen the mental health and resilience of young people, and is part of the celebration of 40 years of the Dr. Guislain Museum.
