Once built as a secluded "model asylum" to isolate those deemed "insane" from society, it now celebrates its 40th anniversary during Open Monuments Day as a welcoming public space dedicated to cultural heritage, art and everything that challenges the norm.

Where psychiatry has often been associated with keys, locked doors and exclusion, we are having every door wide open for this special anniversary. During exclusive guided tours, you'll enjoy a rare behind-the-scenes experience.
