CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: THE MISSING SONG

Theatre maker Barbara Claes would like to work with a small group of children and young people from the non-profit organisation Missing You to write a song about missing someone. Other children and young people (aged 5–15) who are missing someone are also very welcome to join in. We will be writing lyrics which we will later set to music to create a song.

The lyrics will be shared with an audiance on 28 May as part of “Rouw & komuniekaatsie”, a three-day event centred on the theme of grief. This will take place on 28, 29 and 31 May and is organised by Lucinda Ra, the Dr. Guislain Museum and the VIERNULVIER Arts Centre.

Who is it for?

Children and young people (aged 5–15) who are missing someone. In particular, the children and young people from the non-profit organisation Missing you, but other children and young people who are missing someone are also very welcome to join.
